Our Mission

To all our Grow A Row Friends & Supporters,

Now more than ever, we can all appreciate just how small the world truly is, and the importance of coming together to protect our community in a time of need.

After a heartfelt discussion, Grow A Row founders Colin Lyons, Rick Kurzac, Maury Hik and Todd Ruetinger felt it was important to continue with Grow A Row Garden Fundraiser for the 2021 season. As the COVID-19 situation changes, our plans may too. In the meantime, staying connected to others is more important than ever, even when we can’t be together in person.

The organizations that benefit from these gardens will need it more than ever this year.
We plan to continue with the gardens without a social gathering kick-off. We will be supporting our sponsors through all the same media and social channels as years past.

Growing Together

The Grow A Row Kamloops Garden is located at the Kamloops Home Hardware Building Centre. It features 35 garden beds sponsored by local businesses. Each garden bed is filled with fresh, healthy produce that is donated to the Kamloops Food Bank throughout the growing season.

We're Growing A Movement

Our vision is to engage likeminded business owners, who want to give back to the community where they live and work by sponsoring the garden we've provided, while also building a community of engaged individuals within Kamloops who want to help feed those in need by growing vegetables in their own backyards!

This project proudly supports the Kamloops Food Bank.
