We're growing a movement, and we want individuals in our community to pledge to grow a row at home.
Our community needs us now more than ever. Sponsorships in the Grow A Row Kamloops garden are currently reserved for businesses, but we still want to grow a movement by engaging individuals in the community to pledge to grow a row at home and donate it to the Kamloops Food Bank.
We've partnered with the Kamloops Food Bank to create a pledge program where we track the amount of individual donations made under the Grow A Row Kamloops Project.
Many community members don't realize that our local Food Bank does accept perishable donations of produce grown in individual gardens, so long as it is in an edible condition. The Kamloops Food Bank takes perishable and non-perishable donations at 171 Wilson Street. Please come to the Red receiving bay door. Monday-Friday 8am – 2pm.
